Lingered sweetly
On the grass

The surrounding area
Remained shaded
The warmth’s origin
Remained hidden-
Surely not
On purpose-
Oh no, I’m near
The Pines are
Easing my rising-
Giving light and warmth
All day is hard work-
And to be effective
Must be shared
At the right time
When most needed-
At the right time
For optimal curiosity

I’m reading this again, Kelley; once again the title drew me in but this time I couldn’t make sense of what is going on 😦 I would suggest a rewrite or put it aside for a time; I hope this helps —
